My Age My Business: Amazing way to Clear Wrinkles

Ever thought of why we keep our birthday a secret? You probably must be seeking ways to reduce your wrinkles. The most common methods you have tried may have failed maybe from diet to oils and wrinkle filters. Did you know that wrinkles on the face tend to occur because of facial expression?

face-351281_1920 (1)

Wrinkles are fine lines that are a normal process of ageing. They make you appear tired and can be of significantly cosmetic concern, especially for women. Premature wrinkling can be prevented by avoiding the sun, smoking, alcohol, dehydration, some medication and taking proper care of your skin, but wrinkles caused by ageing, environmental and genetic factors are not avoidable.

hand-351277_1280 (1)

As we all get older, our skin gets thinner, drier, less elastic, and less able to protect itself from damage. This leads to wrinkles, creases and lines on the skin. The facial expression wrinkles are because of repeatedly smiling, frowning or squinting that lead to fine lines and wrinkles at a younger age.

Each time you make a facial expression, you use your facial muscles. A groove forms on the surface of the skin. If you are young, your skin can spring back, but as you get older, your skin loses its flexibility. So, the springing back becomes harder and less frequent, resulting in more grooves that are permanent.

When I talk of environmental factors they also contribute to wrinkles, especially when you exposed to ultraviolet (UV) light in ways like sunbathing and outdoor sports also increase the chance of getting wrinkles at a tender age. The UV light breaks down the collagen and elastin fibres, which are located on the surface of the skin. This causes the skin to be weaker and less flexible hence, the skin starts to droop and wrinkles appear.

Smoking accelerates the ageing process of skin, because of the reduced blood supply to the skin. Alcohol dehydrates the skin and the more the skin is dehydrated the more the wrinkles form.

The current orange carrot was developed and stabilised by Dutch growers in the 16th and 17th centuries. The modern day carrot has been bred to be sweet, crunchy and aromatic.

One medium sized carrot can contain 25 calories, 6 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of sugar and 1 gram of protein. Carrots are an excellent source of Vitamin A, C, Calcium and Iron.

The bright orange colour of a carrot is from an antioxidant called beta-carotene. The beta-carotene is absorbed in the intestine and converted into Vitamin A during digestion.

The health benefits from the carrots are so many we cannot exhaust them.

As much as carrots have health benefits, they also have some reactions to the body where:

Overconsumption of carotene may cause a slight tinge in skin colour though not harmful to your health.

Vitamin A can be toxic to humans but is unlikely to be achieved through diet only not unless you use more of vitamin supplements.
